“As a city girl, an escape to the country is a favorite recharge"

“Our studio was a welcoming enclave and the quiet country night brought a sound sleep. Woke up to seeing the cows in the pasture drinking from the pond before even getting out of bed. An expresso machine to fill our cups and then outside to take in the day. There’s a spot outside for yoga, but we prefer lounging by the pool. The donkey is trailing after the horses as they head out to graze. The chickens are making me crave fresh eggs. The time was too short, but we’ll be back in the spring.”
